Product Description

The electronic heat cost allocators WHE5.. and WHE6.. are designed for decentralized use and are used when the heating costs are to be divided among several consumers on the basis of actual consumption. The measured values are recorded via one (radiator) or two sensors (radiator and room temperature sensors). In two-sensor operation, the actual temperature difference between room and radiator temperature is determined; in sensor mode, a constant value is specified for the room temperature. These measured values are used as the basis for the consumption calculation. The main areas of application are heating systems with central heat treatment, in which the heating energy is purchased individually by the customers. The WHE5.. /WHE6.. can be operated as a single or two-probe measuring system with product or unit scale.
All heat cost allocators are delivered without a mounting plate (heat conductor). The mounting plate must be ordered separately.
For secure data transmission, heat cost allocators with an AES-128 encrypted data transmission according to OMS encryption mode 5 are available.

The following HCA variants are available:
- HCAs that communicate in S-Mode (WHE54..)
- HCAs that communicate in C-Mode (OMS) (WHE63..)
- HCAs that communicate encrypted in C-Mode (OMS) (WHE632-....CE)
- HCAs that communicate encrypted in C-Mode (OMS), with optical communication interface (WHE68.-....CE)

All heat cost allocators are supplied without mounting plate. The mounting plate must be ordered as a separate item.
